Hello Friends, A few months ago my friend Carlo texted me and asked me for my address. He and his darling girlfriend Kelsey had recently gotten engaged and he was going to send me a save the date. I … Continue reading
Hello Friends, This post is long, but covers the last two days of our trip. 🙂 On Tuesday of our Montréal trip, we started our day with breakfast at Mamie Clafoutis again. We had tried two other bakeries as this … Continue reading
Hello Friends, On our next day of our trip, we were determined to find the best bagel in all of Montréal. We ended up trying two different bagel shops: La Maison de L’original Fairmount Bagel and the Boulangerie St. Viateur, and … Continue reading
Hello Friends, The next day in Montréal was grey and drizzly. We decided to beat the rain and check out the current Chagall exhibit at the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts. It was a vibrant and large exhibit. After that … Continue reading
Hello Friends, In the fall, my dad and I got together for dinner and starting thinking about locations for my Spring Break. I feel so lucky to have a whole week off in the spring, and usually spend it traveling … Continue reading
The end of the school year is closing just like any other- with a flurry of activity and events! I’m so looking forward to summer, some fun trips planned, lots of sleep and working out hopefully! I’d love to get back on track with regularly working out, grading has taken a bit of a priority lately as I only have a few days left with my seniors.
So here is a quick view into what has been going on in the last few weeks.
I had our apartment handyman put up some shoe shelves for me, and my Type-A heart is so happy. I can see them all so I know what I haven’t work recently, and it’s wicked easy to put them back as I can quickly spot an open space on the shelf.
I went with O to the farmers market a week or two back and these strawberries were out of this world good and so bright in color.
I chaperoned a field-trip to Chinatown in San Francisco and we got dim sum and fortune cookies. So tasty!
My family has finally figured out how to make the best chilaquiles ever! Yum.
I just got back from a whirlwind weekend in Seattle for an amazing wedding to two cuties, so that post will be coming soon. How is your week going?
This week we finally got a glimpse of summer. It has been pretty hot during the middle of the day, but cold and grey in the mornings. It’s all about layers people!
Here are a few things that I’ve found recently.
One: Beauty Lessons from a Ballet Dancer:
As a former ballerina, I really enjoyed this clip. She moves so gracefully and clearly loves what she does.
Two: Robot Love
This little girl finds a broken water heater at the curb and thinks it’s a robot. She is so pretty adorable.
Three: My Darling
This song has been on repeat on my playlist at school. So so good. I saw her live this fall and she is an amazing artist.
Have any fun weekend plans anyone? I’m headed off to a wedding for a old college friend, and I can’t wait to see him and catch up!
Let me know what you are doing this weekend in the comments below!
Hello Friends, About six months ago, my besty and I talked about going back to Harry Potter world. While we enjoyed our weekend in Florida last January, we decided it was time to try the new location in Los Angeles … Continue reading
A few weekends back, I gathered as many friends as I could to enjoy the long weekend up in Tahoe. We have been drenched in the amazing amount of rain we have enjoyed in the last month or two. I love a good rainy day as much as the next gal, but I’m ready for spring and some sun!
But that weekend we had a big dump a few days before and a few days after. It was cold, but with glorious blue skies. Most people didn’t have a sturdy snow care and backed out, so it was a smaller group than expected that made the long drive up there. We relaxed a ton this weekend, eating well, watching movies, sledding and baking! It was a certain someones birthday (Ahem, Joey!!) so we celebrated by baking and eating a delicious cake.
My dad and I were talking a few days back and apparently Tahoe has gotten a record breaking 24 feet of snow in the month of January alone, which totally makes up for the last two years with basically no snow!
Hello Friends! School has been keeping me busy. We had our semester end over MLK weekend which I enjoyed with some friends up in Tahoe, I’ve been out of town more weekends that I was home in January, and I’m … Continue reading
