Spring Break in Mexico

A few weeks ago my family and I flew to Mexico to enjoy a few days of sunshine and lovely fresh beach air on our spring break. My brother was able to take the week off from work and join us, which was absolutely amazing as it would our first family vacation all together since he started working about a year and a half ago.

We had stayed in a small coastal town last year in the same area, and had fallen in love with the next town over, a small local town call San Pancho. My mum was able to find a small condo that perfectly fit the four of us, and was in walking distance of the downtown area and the beach!

We were very lazy the whole week, sleeping in, reading, sitting under the umbrellas on the beach, and eating tons of delicious Mexican food. It was exactly what I needed for a break from work and babysitting.

It was the perfect temperature most of the week, but more than a few of the days were overcast and slightly windy, which I loved, but it didn’t make for gorgeous photos sadly.

My dad would get up first, and text me which local coffee shop he would be in, and then whenever I woke up I would join him while mom and my brother still were sleeping or reading at the house. An hour or two later we would all meet up for breakfast out somewhere.

It was such a relaxing, low key week, exactly what I needed! Since returning, my schedule has been jam packed with workouts, fun meals with friends coming into town, big news about something family related, and work amping up two weeks away from AP Exams.

Where are your favorite places to unwind for a week? Any coastal, beachy towns that you just adore?

Love,

-S
