Last weekend dawned bright and sunny. Winter in California is pretty darn good. My mother and I started off my winter break strong with a day of shopping. While this is typical for me, my mother dislikes shopping, but loves me and I love shopping, and thus we were shopping. She was a champ, and we both ended up with some great new things.

We started our day at Kate Spade, where my mom got a new wallet that matched mine.We finished up at Ralph Polo Lauren where I splurged on some new collared shirts for work. If it’s for work and you love it, don’t you just have to get it?

Later in the day, we packed our bags lightly for a tropical beach vacation. My parents and I flew out of SFO bright and early Tuesday morning bound for Mexico.

We landed in gorgeous sunny, Puerto Vallarta, ready for a week of sun, beaches and relaxing! More details on what all we did and where we stayed tomorrow.
