On Tuesday of last week, my parents and I picked up a rental car and drove to small beach town about thirty minutes north of Puerto Vallarta called Punta de Mita.

Mita is a relatively small town, nestled along the coast filled with gorgeous sunsets, bright sunny days and tons of cheeky birds. On later days, we explored the two towns just a bit north of Punta Mita. We stayed in a beautiful condo right on the beach. Some mornings I woke up early to watch the sunrise. Every day was beautifully warm from the early morning to the late evening.

I’m going to overwhelm you with many pictures of the sunrise/sunsets as every day seemed to be more beautiful than previous day!

They had the most colorful sunrises I had every seen!

I just wanted to stay forever! Both my parents and I agreed that it was easy to travel there, and it was just a relaxing place to spend a week. I could totally see us going back there again with my brother.
