Harry Potter World

Harry Potter World

Hello Friends,

You can read about my re-cap of our first two days in L.A here!  Sunday dawned bright and sunny, and we uber-ed from our small hotel to Universal Studios. We had bought our tickets online, which got us early entrance to the park by an hour. It was totally the right call, Hogwards was totally quiet. We wandered the shops, picking out various things, and hopped onto one ride: the Castle ride. It was a little more scary than I remembered but still fun overall.

We ended up grabbing lunch at The Three Broomsticks, where I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture, but I had a salad and shepherds pie and apple pie. It was yummy. We explored a few other rides there at Universal Studio, but the one I enjoyed the most was the Studio Tour. We sat on this open air bus and they drove us around different lots, as they told us which movies were filmed in which buildings, they had clips from recent movies which was exciting.

Have you been to Universal Studios or Hogwarts?

  1. I went to the original Wizarding World park in Orlando, around the time it opened. It amazes me to think that in only a few years, Universal has managed to open a Hogwarts park in nearly every Universal Studios in the world, including the one in Japan.
