My amazing brother make this cake for me to celebrate my birthday. It’s a delicious pineapple upside-down cake!

I welcomed the start of this Fall by ordering a snootful of tea! I love curling up on the couch or a comfy chair with a steaming cup ‘o tea. I like cool crisp mornings with a good hot tea to warm me up.

Annie and I went up to the City Halloween weekend. Inside of the ferry building there were these adorably carved pumpkins. I didn’t end up having time to carve mine, but I do have tons of gourds on my doorsteps. I had picked up a few for my students to draw and now they are pretty decor that greet me upon my arrival home. I’ll try to snap a pic to show you guys at some point.

I had some free time before meeting up with a friend so I visited my childhood house, which is not too far from my parents current house, but I have such fond memories of living in that house. It had a very large wild woods yard and I ran around the neighborhood playing with all the other kids. This is the view from the end of our street. I think California is prettiest in the Fall.
