Today I took the little girl I babysit to the park. On our walk there, I saw some beautiful roses and couldn’t resist snapping a photo. We sat in the sun, she played and I read. It was exactly what I needed in that moment and it reminded me to breathe. Sometimes that’s all you need, one breathtakingly fragile moment to remind you that you are alive.

Roses are red.
