At some point in May I lost my sunglasses.

On a hunt for a new pair I stumbled into this beautiful tortoise-shell pair at Banana Republic. I wear them on a daily basis and I adore the style. They are the ones I wore in this post and I love how confident they make me feel.

I had not purchased anything tortoise shell style before the sunglasses, but I now understand the craze about the color and feel. I’ve had my eye on a few other tortoise shell things. What do you think of tortoise-shell? Do you have anything in that style?
